Cafe World Tips and Tricks Strategy Guide

Saturday, December 25, 2010

This is my first complete (I hope) strategy guide and I hope you will find it really helpful. I am starting with the Cafe World Strategy Guide here summing up all the tutorials I have presented on the website during the past couple of weeks and also adding a bunch of brand new tips and tricks to help you play Cafe World.

This Cafe World strategy guide is aimed at newer players of the game, but experienced players might also find out some really great tips here!

Chapter 1 - How to play Cafe World

The full article can be found by clicking the title of the chapter.

Chapter 2 - What types of food to cook?

Full article ca be reached, again, by clicking the chapter's title.

Chapter 3 - Buzz rating and neighbors.

Chapter 4 - How to get more money in Cafe World

Chapter 5 - How to earn more experience in Cafe World

Chapter 6 - Cafe World customization

Table settings, more doors for more customers etc

Chapter 7 - New tips and tricks

As promised, I will also share a few new tips and tricks that will help you become an ace in Cafe World. First of, one of the most important things for me was to keep an eye on Chef Specials and other bonuses I could get from my friends. This way, I ended up having more than 500 servings of different foods, for free!

Ignore cafe customization until you reach level 25. I know that a good looking cafe is what you wish to have, but stacking up money for upgrades and dishes is more important at first - then, you can party on!

Do not cheat! Probably the most important thing I've learned on my own skin. I tried to use a cheat to get more food and ended up wasting all the meals I had in my kitchen, plus that I had to buy the ovens once again from the market place. Play it safe and you will certainly be rewarded - you'll also appreciate it more this way!

Friday, June 18, 2010

If you've read all of the comments on the FrontierVille Help Guide post, you will see that most of them are about the items and resources needed for the FrontierVille Goals.  You need to be very careful that you don't use up certain resource tiles as they might be needed later on in the game.  I will go through the goals and then tell you which resources seem to be causing the most problems for FrontierVille players.

FrontierVille Help Guide | New Zynga Facebook Game

Wednesday, June 9, 2010

**Take control of FrontierVille and dominate your friends by becoming the top player. The newly released Frontier Tycoon Guide will show you everything you need to know to succeed in the fastest growing Facebook game out there. Check it out now!

Well howdy partner! Zynga has released its newest Facebook game, FrontierVille. Here at SGH we want to give you a quick FrontierVille Help Guide so that you can get started on the right track. In this game you are a pioneer that has headed out west and you get to start your very own frontier town. You'll get to decorate your town, build cabins, grow crops and even start a family. But watch out! The frontier is a wild place with a lot of wilderness and hardships to contend with!

This game has a lot of features loaded into it and you will be familiar with most of them. First you have to design your character. You get to pick all of the usual things, like how you look and of course your outfits, which are western themed of course. Then you get to start working on your FrontierVille.

Like most games, everything you do requires energy and you only have a limited amount, so you need to use it wisely. It also makes for slow going early on but your energy levels will grow as you gain levels. There are also items you can buy that will give you energy, much like the system used in Treasure Isle. At the beginning of the game you will be helped by Frontier Jack, who'll show you the basics but that's about it.

There is a bit more to collect here then in some of the other games. Of course you need coins to buy things at the market but you also need wood to build buildings, food for more energy and horseshoes, which are the FrontierVille currency that you earn or buy from Zynga.

You have crops that you can harvest that will give you food and coins. Chopping down trees will give you wood and coins and feeding your animals gives you coins and sometimes food too. You need to clear land to build your cabin and sometimes when you are clearing land, especially moving rocks, you will encounter things like snakes, which you must clobber until they are dead. This earns you coins, food and experience.

There's a lot to and I'll walk you through a few of those things:
Farming and Ranching: You will have crops to harvest and plant, similar to FarmVille. You buy them at the market and then pick a spot to plant them. There's no plowing required, just pick your crop and plant it, no energy needed. Harvesting the crops requires energy though, so make sure you have enough energy to harvest everything you plant or those crops may wither away. You can also plant trees to harvest and buy animals that you will tend to and 'harvest as well and they can be harvested over and over, so they are a good investment once you have the coins to purchase them.
Wild Animals of the West: There are animals in the wild west that don't like the idea of settlers. Watch out for hem as if they are near your crops or animals it will cost you more energy to harvest them. So, when you see them you need to clobber them to scare them away!
Frontier Neighbors: Like other Facebook games, neighbors play an important part. You will need a certain number of them to complete some tasks and of course they can send you gifts to help you on your way. You can also help them to gain experience and items, without using energy. This is important when you are first starting out and don't have a lot of energy. You also get hearts when you help your neighbor, which increases your reputation which gives your neighbors a bonus when they hire you and you'll get more coins too!
Those are the main areas of the game, but there are also a few more. FrontierVille has collections that can be completed to gain more energy and receive free items. You also have a wish list where you can request specific gifts from your FrontierVille neighbors.
There are specific goals for you to complete and the first one is called 'Clear The Land'. You need to clear 3 grass, which takes one energy each and gives you one experience and one coin. You also need to chop down two trees, which takes a certain number of chops depending on the size of the tree. Each chops takes one energy and then there is a stump to remove at the end, which also takes one energy to remove. You gain the same amount of wood and coins as the number of chops.
The first building you need is a cabin, which can be purchased at the market. Once it is completed you can start your family. You get a wife or husband and will eventually get to have children.
All I can say is that so far the game seems great. It looks good, has a familiar, yet new feel to it and has been a lot of fun so far. I know I haven't covered everything, but this will get you started. Please leave some comments below and let us know what you think of FrontierVille

Restaurant City Beds | Restaurant City Help Guide

Monday, June 7, 2010

Lately a lot of people have been asking me about the changes that have been made to Restaurant City Beds and the other changes that have happened recently at Restaurant City. So we will help guide you through these changes to make your transition smooth and keep your restaurant running and making you money!

The first and biggest change is with Restaurant City Beds. Before, you needed beds so that your restaurant staff could rest and you could keep your restaurant open longer. Now, resting has been removed from the game totally. Your restaurant can now stay open for 24 hours and you don't have to rest or feed your staff. So now you are asking if you even need beds and I have the answer. It is YES, but I would only keep one bed and then only if you have the space.

Here's how it works. If you have a Restaurant City Bed your staff will work faster depending on which bed you have. The red bed will give your staff a 0.5% speed boost and the Restaurant City Gingerbread Bed will give them a 1% speed boost. The reason I said only to keep one is because the speed boost does not stack. That means if you have more then one bed, you still only get either the 0.5% or 1% speed boost. I also said only if you have the space because in reality the speed boost is a very small amount that you will probably not even notice. Playfish knows this is a big change and is letting players sell beds for the full price, 4500 coins for the red bed and 12,000 for the gingerbread bed.

Some people will be disappointed with the changes, as part of the strategy for the game was planning things so your staff would get rest and you could keep your restaurant open longer. But, overall I think this change is a good one. It makes the game a bit less complicated, which is good for the casual player, and it allows you to keep your restaurant open 24 hours if you have enough coins.

Let us know what you think of the changes and post your comments about what you do or don't like about the changes!

If you want to dominate Restaurant City and get the best looking restaurant you will need tons of coins and a high level to do it. Get there quickly and learn the best Restaurant City Secrets now!!

Cafe World Guide | Level 75 New Recipes

Thursday, June 3, 2010

Today Zynga has announced to all Cafe World chefs that the Cafe World advanced cookbook is almost ready to be unlocked. To get us all excited about it they announced the first four dishes that will be available to the Cafe World professional chefs that are level 75 or higher.

The first four recipes that will be released are Chicken Vindaloo, Osso Buco, Confit de Canard and Kabayaki. I was a bit uncertain what these dishes were from just the names so I did a little digging and here is what I learned.

Chicken Vindaloo is an Indian dish and is made with chicken, many spices including curry, onion, chili peppers and garlic. A lot of restaurants add potatoes to the dish and also offer it with lamb instead of chicken. It is also usually one of the hottest types of Indian dishes served.

Osso Bucco is an Italian dish that when translated means "hollowed bone". It is made with veal shanks cooked in meat broth and flavored with white wine and vegetables.

Confit de Canard is more commonly called Duck Confit outside of France. The dish is made with a process of preservation that involves curing the meat in slat and then poaching it in its own fat. Its cooked slowly and sometimes is cooked as long as 10 hours.

Kabayaki is a Japanese dish of seafood that is filleted, boned and dipped in a sweet soy sauce based sauce. The meat is then broiled on a grill. In Japan the most common meat used to make this dish is eel and is considered a nutritious stamina generating food.

So, get ready for the new dishes when the advanced Cafe World cookbook is released!

If you aren't quite at level 75 yet and want to get there before the advanced cookbook is released there are some great tools to help you. The best Cafe World secrets can get you to level 75 in no time so you can take part in all the recipes!

Mafia Wars London Help Guide

Monday, May 31, 2010

As most of you are aware if you have logged into Mafia Wars there is a new mission. It is the Mafia Wars London mission. The mission's goal is to steal a Crown jewel from the Tower of London. A new chapter will be released each week and you'll need to work hard to complete all 3 chapters.

To get started there are a few things that you need to do. First, you need to get more members into your mafia. This can be done the regular way at the beginning, by getting more Facebook friends to join you in Mafia Wars. The other way is to spend reward points to get more members in your mafia. After you do that you need to start collecting British Passports. You will get 12 to start with and then have to find more while doing other jobs.

As you can see in the image above, you will unlock two slots for your London crew with each chapter. Then, new people joining your Mafia will be added to your crew and you will get bonus British passports for each new member.

Now I know this seems like a lot. Most people have been playing Mafia Wars for some time now and it gets hard to find more people to join your Mafia. So, of course Zynga gives you the option to spend a lot of reward points instead. I prefer adding more Mafia members and am sure you do as well, so feel free to comment on this post and leave your name so others can add you to their Mafia and then you won't have to spend reward points.

With all of that said, the rewards that you get for completing the chapters are worth all of the effort.

The reward for completing Chapter 1 is a Blockade Auto Shotgun with 58 attack and 45 defense. Not too bad, but it gets better when you complete Chapter 2 and receive a FSB Agent that has 42 attack and a great 76 defense. They save the best for last so work hard to complete Chapter 3 to receive a Nightowl Helicopter. It has an outstanding 107 attack and 55 defense. Like he saying goes, no pain, no gain, and Mafia Wars London definitely fits that description.

Are you having a hard time levelling up as fast as you want to? Do you want to learn the fastest and easiest way to get to the high level you need? The Mafia Wars Blueprint will get you there faster the any other method.
